Daily Inspiration: Meet Donyelle Frank

Today we’d like to introduce you to Donyelle Frank.

Hi Donyelle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
If I had to describe the journey as to how I got here, I would have to start by listing a few of my most dominant character traits. Becoming me IS my journey. The closest people to me, myself included describe me as someone who is vibrant, kind-hearted, free-spirited, innovative, and strong-willed. Fundamentally, I believe that if you stay true to who you are, your personality will ooze into every inch of your life and not even work, will feel like work. With that philosophy, I am blessed to say that I’ve done just that!

I am Donyelle Frank. The Public Health Educator, Model, Interior Designer, Event Coordinator, Producer/Director, and former Radio Host for IHEART Radio! Every inch of my life now gives me a platform to express my personality in the most creative ways I can imagine. It has been a wild journey learning and growing myself but it has been a beautifully memorable one and for that, I am grateful.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Honestly, yes! It’s been an extremely smooth, yet exciting road to take! I’ve had some pretty dope experiences and I’ve met a lot of amazing people along the way! For any entrepreneur, there is always a risk in learning your trade. It cost money to invest in yourself and your skill and it’s not necessarily considered “playing it safe”. I have learned to invest in enhancing my skills rather than outsourcing everything. Being an entrepreneur in the year 2021 has taught me to be the bookkeeper, the assistant, the social media manager, content creator, and a therapist haha! The sky is the limit when you’re still learning!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
The Donyelle Frank Experience is just that, an experience! I have many talents and I’ve built a brand that encompasses them all as they grow. I own a premier Interior Design Company servicing events, residential and commercial units. As a model in the plus-size industry, I have a background flowing from swimwear and high-fashion to editorial makeup. I have played my part in producting and directing many creative art visuals and the list goes on!

What’s next?
My newest venture is the Luxury Picnic Service. We are making date night, brunch with the girls, and mommy and me dinners more memorable with our spin on a classy comfy picnic! Listen, I just want all my talents to pay my bills so that I can forever reign “the fine rich auntie” haha! I am constantly conjuring up new business ventures, so always keep up with me via social media!
