Daily Inspiration: Meet Jordan Page

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Page.

Hi Jordan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a career changer. I graduated from Meredith College with my Bachelor of Arts in 2012. My life took a lot of turns before leaving the corporate world and coming into the industry at 26 years old. It was a leap of faith, but I’ve been dreaming of working behind the chair for as long as I can remember! I graduated from Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, began working in Raleigh, and traveled all over the country continuing my education in color, precision cuts, and blonding. Years later, I have found my home at Reverie Hair Co in Raleigh.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
How much time do you have? Kidding. But in all seriousness – I always say nothing worth having ever came easy. I appreciate my career so much more because it’s something I’ve fought for. Leaving the corporate world with financial security and benefits to pursue a dream with an unknown outcome was risky and presented obvious struggles. My family had their concerns but knew that I have always been one to persevere. Hair school was harder than I anticipated. Socially it was challenging being in such a different season of my life than many of the other students, and even after school there were times I wondered if I was cut out for the industry. Not because I didn’t love what I did, but because I found my vision didn’t always align with that of those around me. All of this to say – I truly wouldn’t change a thing. These struggles and heartaches all led me to become the woman I am today. I’m a mom, a career woman, a creative. And I know I’m right where I’m meant to be.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a hairstylist specializing in blonding and dimensional color. I’m known for my platinum blondes, bright blondes, lived in blondes, and dimensional bronde/brunettes. I am also a Social Contributor for Mr. Smith Hair. I’m most proud of my willpower and courage to make my passion my profession. More than creating hair, I love people. I believe that passion is what sets me apart from others. If you’ve sat in my chair you know that I’m not there just for your hair, I’m there for you. Your stories. Your life’s highs and lows. To laugh and to cry with you. Creating hair that brings you confidence is the added bonus.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
It took me being in radio, directing kids’ surf camps & selling paddleboards, working in retail management, and THEN corporate HR to find my way to this season of my life behind the chair. I think deep down, I always knew I was meant to do something different. I’m here to tell you – it’s NEVER too late to pursue your dreams!

  • Blonding Services range $300-$400. I highly recommend a consultation to find what’s best for your hair goals and your budget.
