Today we’d like to introduce you to Molly Youssef.
Hi Molly, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Brewmasters Mobile started as a brick and mortar craft beer store/restaurant (Brewmasters) in 2013. The “Mobile” part was added in 2017 after friends of ours who do wedding food catering asked us to join forces with them to provide an elevated bar experience for couples. It was definitely a happy accident and never something I imagined that I would be doing!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely been a learning process. My background/education is in athletic training and teaching, and I did that full time for the first several years of running Brewmasters Mobile, so time was certainly a struggle and many emails were sent late at night in the early years! I’ve learned to run a business while running a business. Learning from others with more experience has been crucial, there is an online Mobile Bar industry community which helped me learn a ton and my husband and I own other restaurants in addition to the Mobile side of things, so learning from those who have been in the restaurant bartending scene has been hugely helpful as well. The local wedding industry has evolved over time as well, so making new connections with vendors and discovering what things are most important to couples as trends change is important.
As you know, we’re big fans of Brewmasters Mobile. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Brewmasters Mobile specializes in bar services for weddings and events. We feel that while the beverage experiences in restaurants has really grown and elevated in recent years, that event beverages were often falling flat in terms of service and selections. The industry has really grown since we were starting out! We offer a huge selection of beer, wine, cider, seltzers, liquors, and cocktails and have some unique bars as well, including draft beer bars, and bar trailers. Bartenders are the vendors that event guests interact with the most, so providing a unique and personalized bar truly elevates the guest’s experience at a wedding or other event.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I feel like organization and communication are crucial. We have been told numerous times by clients that they appreciate our timely and thorough communication. Everyone is busy, and putting an emphasis on prompt replies and clear communication helps clients feel confident in our services and helps with their planning process.
