Hidden Gems: Meet Sandra Enesi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandra Enesi.

Hi Sandra, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Started in 2006 with my associate’s degree… I was “very green” to the office as I came from a textile worker background. Went back to school for my bachelor’s degree. Made a decision to go straight for my CPA license versus taking the MAC program at Wake Forest University. Passed the CPA exam and opened my first location Jan 1, 2018. Our second location in Manhattan, NY opened in February 2021. We continue to service our communities well. It’s been a lot of persistence, commitment, education and dedication along the way. As the mother of two adult children, I am proud of all of the right decisions made along the way which have brought me to this moment 🙂

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
What’s a smooth road look like? Even that is made up of tiny little bits and pieces that must be overcome… and how did the road even become smooth or pliable?

NO! As a teenage mother born into poverty, the road has been tough and some people would rather not endure the road. I raised my children, worked full time and attended night school, many of those years as a single mother. My children saw the work ethic and my daughter has gone to graduate with her Master’s degree from NYU and is the proud owner of a Music School in Brooklyn, NY. My son has completed two years at UNC-Greensboro and is finding his way in life as well.

Life is what you make it and overcoming each and every trial to get to where we are in life has been well worth it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We specialize in providing stress-relieving services to small businesses and entrepreneurs across the US. We are known to be a teaching firm, meaning we will happily teach the new entrepreneur what it means to be an entrepreneur as many of them have just left a stable W-2 position. We assist with tax planning, tax strategies, payroll, establishing accounting systems, hiring employees, etc. We are set apart by the attentiveness we give to our clients. They feel heard and have an accountability partner is us and trusts us for each step of their business ownership journey. We are most proud of the level of service we provide at our price point. We really enjoy what we do and it is exuded in every engagement.

I want the readers to know that we consistently have their best interests in mind. We educate and we learn and we research if there is something that we need to know more about before we advise them. With all this greatness, our delivery is slower that we would like it to be, so if you are comfortable with ensuring your items are done by the deadline (and not necessarily 14 weeks before the deadline) then we would be a great fit!!!

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
That I love to walk around barefoot in my backyard and feel the cool earth and grass on my skin. I take my yoga mat out there in the mornings and do some stretches before I start my day 🙂

I love learning as much as a dog loves sniffing another dog’s butt, lolol. It’s just natural to me 🙂

I love trees. Tree fetish, lol. I have imagery of trees everywhere….. I have tree table decor, tree paintings, tree pictures, tree wall decor, even a tree shower curtain, tree jewelry trees (plural I have two, lolol). I love trees!
