Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Bademian

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My husband and I have 4 grown children, and we’ve called Wake Forest home for 18 years. Nearly 20 years ago, my mother-in-law introduced my two daughters and I to our first tea room, where we fell in love with the dainty sandwiches, delectable desserts and scrumptious scones. The sight of different teacups and tiered trays arranged so elegantly on a table captured our hearts. Since then, we have enjoyed afternoons at charming tea rooms and hosting tea parties in our home. With the support of my family, I’ve curated a beautiful collection. Guided by my sister-in-law, who runs a successful tea business on the West Coast, I opened my own tea party business here in North Carolina. Tea Time 2 You launched in 2023, and it has brought me immense joy to share our vintage treasures with my clients.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have been open for just over a year, and so far, it’s been smooth sailing!

Each piece in our collection is carefully handpicked by our team, ensuring that all our items are of the highest quality and in excellent condition. We take great pleasure in working closely with our clients, helping them plan every detail to ensure their tea party is a resounding success. To make the experience as seamless as possible, we deliver all the necessary tablescape items directly to the event location, ready for use. We can arrange delivery the day before the event to allow ample time for setup, and we offer pickup the day after, giving our clients extra time to enjoy their celebration.

In addition to our curated selection of teacups, and other essentials, we take pride in creating our own tea napkins. These are made from a variety of floral fabrics in pretty colors, adding a touch of charm to the event. We believe that mixing various patterns and designs enhances the elegance of the tablescape, making each guest’s experience truly unique and memorable.

What matters most to you? Why?
In the tea party business, what matters most is creating a memorable and enchanting experience for each client.We take great pride in seeing the joy and excitement on our clients’ faces when they and their guests first lay eyes on our beautifully set tables. Each detail, from the carefully chosen teacups, to the tiered trays, is designed to create an unforgettable experience. Tea parties have been such a source of happiness for my family over the years, and it’s incredibly rewarding to share that joy with others. When clients tell us that their tea party exceeded their expectations and was even more magical than they imagined, it reminds us why we do what we do. It’s these moments of delight that fuel our passion for bringing the charm and elegance of a tea party to life for our clients.
