Meet Staci Neal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Staci Neal.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The pandemic has been an event that will forever change the way life is viewed. During that time, I was laid off from my job for 8 months and could not find work that fit my schedule as a single mom.

As I witnessed my savings account shrink down, my brain began coming up with different ways to generate money. Around Christmas of 2020, I put a few pictures of some cookies that I made on Instagram and the response was mind-blowing!

This was the birth of Cookie Ecstaci (pronounced like “ecstasy” but with my name!).

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am a self-taught cookie baker! Before the business, I did not even bake as much as a cake.

I always cooked very well but never baked. This business has taught me through trial and error, and I do mean errors, the importance of consistency, discipline, and organization.

I can now say that I have 8 original recipes that have come out of those mishaps.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In conjunction with owning Cookie Ecstaci, I work in HR, I am currently finishing my last year for my bachelor’s in Business Admin/ Marketing, and I am a mother to a vivacious two-year-old daughter named Ari.

To describe Cookie Ecstaci in words. I would use nostalgia. Our cookies mimic the simple times in your life such as baking as a child. The taste is comparable to your grandma’s fresh-baked cookies!

We like to keep it simple with a twist on today’s popular cookie flavors.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I have not been able to find a mentor just yet in this field!! I am always looking and would love to partner with other skilled bakeries! Skillshare and YouTube have been my greatest source.

Also, just use my own creativity to guide me!

I have had Staci cookie. They taste like the ones grandma use to make. They are so moist and delicious you can’t eat just one.
