Hi Janae, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Muvaland Essentials LLC was created because I realized all of the skincare items that I purchased had extremely toxic chemicals in the ingredients. I knew then I wanted to create my own cost-efficient, natural products to avoid using harsh chemicals, preservatives, parabens, and unnecessary additives. Once I started researching and creating my own products for my household, our skin and overall health has drastically improved! Now that I’ve perfected my formula, I wanted to share it with others so they can join us on the natural, holistic journey to healthier, glowing skin while feeling good within!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, I wouldn’t use the terms easy or smooth. I will say it’s been an exciting journey. I have a holistic health background and certificate, so I used my knowledge to create these natural products and also had to sample from different vendors to ensure I was receiving the purest form of each natural ingredient. It took a lot of patience, research, and coins. I’ve learned so much along the way! It’s been a very rewarding process hearing all of the amazing feedback from my customers!
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk-taking?
If you’re not willing to take risks, then you most likely won’t receive the reward behind the risk. Many people allow fear to cripple them and hinder them from growth. There are risks every day in life but it ultimately comes down to the person’s choice on how bad they want to succeed.
