Tifani , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me right now is super busy! Working several jobs to provide for me and my family. On top of continuing to grow my business and being an elementary teacher, I have recently started tutoring for elementary students that need extra support. I also work as a Direct Support Professional, with adults with intellectual disabilities. I am a cat mom! And a new homeowner!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, all,
I am Tifani. Founder and CEO of Tifani Beauti! I am rebranding and currently have my website under construction I am currently working on a Thanksgiving raffle! I am also working a fall/winter sale for my products. I am a new homeowner, and that’s honestly been taking up my time. But I am now ready to get back into business! I am working on adding new products and working on improving some current ones. Some products include, body butter, hair oil, facial oil, cuticle nail oil, loc gel, lip gloss, lip scrub, body sugar scrub, soap etc. I also have African bathnets , gloves, lip scrub brushes, etc.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful is knowing the power doesn’t come from me, but from God. I’ve prayed about my business, researched, experimented, and created greatness. This was back during COVID, 2020 when I was home and trying to pass time. And a business came out of it during Spring 2021, when I introduced it to the world.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There were times I did give up. A business is hard. A new one at that. But if it’s a passion, you’ll always come back to it . Even while distracted, I still come back to doing what I love, which is creating products for all to use. Young or old.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Of course! It’s too hard to not be yourself. That has to be exhausting pretending to be someone else. So what people see is what they get. Of course there’s a time to be silly, serious, etc. but I’m very loving and welcoming when you get to know me. May not look like it all the time.

If I only had 10 years left, I’d stop working all my jobs to just focus on family, friends, and myself. Life is too short and precious to waste time on unnecessary people and things. Do what makes you happy while you can.
