Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?

Culture, economic circumstances, family traditions, local customs and more can often influence us more than we realize.  With the benefit of hindsight, we asked some wise and experienced members of our community whether they think they are doing what they were meant to do or told to do.

Despite the twists and turns and industry headaches that come with making a living from creativity, I’ve never questioned my choice to do so. Yes. Now more than ever. I’ve tried to put down my keyboard, stop digging through the public records, take a break from preaching about our contaminated water and the inaction of local authorities, but I can’t.
