Briana Boddie of Cary on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Briana Boddie shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Briana, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Through my faith in Jesus Christ, I feel a deep calling to love, help, and serve others—and I’m stepping into that calling with the launch of my podcast, Vibing with Bri. While I wouldn’t say I was fearful because I do not operate in a spirit of fear, I was certainly hesitant. As someone who is deeply empathetic and passionate about everything I commit to, I knew this journey would require vulnerability. Social media can be a powerful tool for connection and creativity, but it also opens the door to criticism and negativity. I’ve had to grow comfortable with the idea that not everyone will understand or support what I’m doing and that’s okay. I’m learning to silence the noise of doubt and lean into obedience, trusting that if the Lord called me to this, He will also sustain me through it. My focus now is simply to walk boldly in purpose and let the message reach those it’s meant to impact.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Briana Boddie, and my brand is simply Briana—rooted in authenticity, creativity, and purpose with a splash of bubbly-ness. Under that umbrella, I’ve launched two distinct yet connected ventures: Heiress Designs & Logos, a digital marketing agency specializing in branding, logo design, and visual storytelling; and Vibing with Bri, a podcast centered around real, uplifting conversations designed to inspire and empower.

What makes my brand unique is the heart behind it. I’m passionate about helping people show up confidently—whether that’s through a powerful brand identity or a word of encouragement shared on the podcast. I believe that when we operate in our calling, we naturally create impact. Right now, I’m focused on expanding both platforms to reach more people, share more stories, and continue building a space where creativity meets purpose.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that has most shaped how I see myself is my relationship with Jesus Christ. As I grew deeper in my faith and spent more time in His word, I began to truly understand who I am and how I’m called to show up in the world. Through that journey, I learned the true meaning of love, especially as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:7—love that always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. I also came to realize that life is all about choices, and more importantly, the posture of your heart behind those choices. That perspective has grounded me, shaped my identity, and continues to guide how I live, lead, and serve.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self, “You are enough, just as you are.” Your value isn’t based on perfection or performance, it’s rooted in who you were created to be. Trust your journey, give yourself grace, and know that everything you’re walking through is preparing you for something greater.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
One foundational truth in my life is that everything happens in divine timing. I’ve learned that delays are not denials, they’re often redirections or opportunities for growth. Another truth I hold closely is that peace is a priority. No matter how ambitious the goal or demanding the season, protecting my peace and staying aligned with my purpose is non-negotiable. These beliefs guide my decisions, shape my perspective, and keep me grounded, even when I don’t always speak them aloud.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when the Lord’s perfect peace rests upon me. In those moments, my thoughts are still, worry fades, and I’m filled with a deep sense of gratitude. It’s a quiet, steady peace that reminds me I’m exactly where I need to be — grounded, covered, and home.
