Check Out Ahmed Mustafa’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ahmed Mustafa.

Hi Ahmed, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I originally got my real estate license in 2016 in Syracuse, NY. I moved back to North Carolina because it was too cold in New York.

I use to live in Lumberton, NC, and I said if I would come back to North Carolina then I would want to come to a bigger city and I decided the triangle area and Cary would be my new home.

I love it here in the triangle area and I truly enjoy helping my community in buying, selling, or investing in homes.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There are always challenges in running your own business but I have been blessed to overcome them. I have been able to meet new people and network in the area. I was able to take my 2021 business to the next level and it’s all from the blessings of the highest.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I use to own and run gas stations and convenience stores. This gave me a lot of experience to be able to control a business and be confident to speak to people in the public. I went to UNC-Pembroke and I graduated with mass communication in broadcasting.

I wanted to become a sports broadcaster because of the love I have for sports. This also helped me to make videos for real estate, especially videos for new listings that I always have.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Yes, I have taken a few risks. I took the risk of leaving New York and coming to Raleigh where I didn’t know a lot of people here. I was able to meet people and build a strong social media presence to expand my business.

I also have taken another risk in the business which can be rewarding for a lot of new agents. I started a real estate team and I want to help new agents that don’t know anyone or are in need of leads and training. I want to help as many agents as possible and help them take their business to the next level.
