Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Edwina.

Hi Angela, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have always felt different.

As a child, I was always questioning things and just knew and saw things that others didn’t. I suppressed my abilities (as much as I could) for most of my life in an attempt to be “normal”. In 2009, after experiencing trauma, I started a healing journey. This also jump-started my spiritual awakening. This awakening amplified my abilities and I was forced to accept them. I have been working to develop them ever since.

During my spiritual awakening, I began to realize that my soul’s purpose was to use the abilities that I have to help others. I began to seek out training to help me better understand my abilities and how I could be of service to others. I have taken training and classes to learn different forms of energy healing and how to hone my psychic and mediumship abilities.

As a certified Shaman and a level 1 Reiki practitioner, I can help people heal on an energetic and soul level. I am able to help people clear out unwanted patterns and blocks that may be keeping them from living the life of their dreams.

I am also a trained Evidential Medium and certified Psychic Medium. I obtained my certification through ES Psychics, LLC. I can connect to spirit guides and the spirit world. This allows me to relay messages from loved ones in spirit and give guidance and clarity for current and future situations.

I have clairvoyance, clairsentience, claircognizance, clairaudience and clairalience. This means that I can see, hear, feel and smell what spirit is relaying and can fully connect energetically with people.

I enjoy being able to help people get closure, overcome fear and move forward with their lives. I not only offer remote and in-person private readings/healing sessions but I also offer online classes that help people develop and work with their abilities.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest obstacle/struggle that I have faced would be self-acceptance.

Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to be myself. I was taught that the real me was bad. As an adult, I’ve had to do a lot of healing so that I could overcome the self-hatred that this caused. It’s been a long road and there are still some days when I still struggle with who I am.

Another obstacle/struggle that I’ve encountered is overly critical and downright mean people. I’ve gotten a lot of mean/hateful comments from people that don’t have the same beliefs as me or don’t believe in what I do. I try my best to not let these people have an effect on me but at times they do get to me.

I’m lucky because I have amazing friends and clients that remind me that the work I do and who I am is important. They remind me of the people that I’ve helped. They also remind me to stop looking at the mean comments and take a deep breath.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I offer private remote and in-person psychic and mediumship sessions, remote energy healing, in-person spiritual home cleansing, and online classes/workshops. I’m also available for private parties (in-person and remote).

What sets me apart from others in my field are my ethics and integrity. I hold myself to very high standards when it comes to the work that I do. I work to help people and not cause harm. This means that sometimes I have to tell people no. If they ask for something that is not in their higher good, I will turn it down.

This also means that I do not insert myself in situations where I have not been asked to give insight. I believe that consent is not only important when it comes to our physical bodies but also our energy and energetic bodies.

During readings, I have a very direct approach but I also lead with love and kindness. Even when the information that comes through is not good, I relay it with kindness. I’m very cautious with my tone and words when relaying information and messages from spirit.

Due to my ethics and integrity, many of my clients book more sessions, follow me on social media, become members, and refer others to me. A big portion of my clientele consists of repeat clients and referrals.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I feel that my kindness to others has been very important to my success.

My goal to help people includes being kind to everyone (even the mean people). I strive to lead with kindness and love. This is something that is really needed today.

The world we live in is lacking in kindness. Even though I am only one person, I hope to spread as much kindness and love as I can.
