Today we’d like to introduce you to Beverly Moore.

Beverly, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I never pictured myself being a cosmetologist, even though I was around hair my entire life. My mom is a cosmetologist and salon owner. I planned never to touch anyone’s hair and go to medical school. God had other plans, lol as I set out on my journey for medical, I hated everything about it! I started offering services to families for extra money while in school and LOVED everything about hair! I noticed, as well as everyone else around me, that hair came naturally to me, and I was GOOD! My passion became Extensions, and I have now been going 10 years strong. I am 29 years old and have paved my lane in the beauty industry in the triangle area and multiple states that my client and students travel from! I own a hair salon and my new business venture, Salon suites. I am excited to see how far I can go in the hair industry. Look out, the world, I’m here to stay!!

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been smooth since I was wholly committed to hair. I honestly feel this is where God has placed me!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in natural hair extensions. Meaning I make Extensions look as if it is growing from your scalp! I attract a large clientele with my skills with undetectable installs. I am also known for my fantastic customer service and professionalism, which I am so proud of. I am happy to provide my clients with top-tier services! I believe my skills and professional traits are why I book out within minutes when my schedule opens.

How do you define success?
I define success as being able to help others become successful as well. Are you successful if you are not influencing others to do the same?
