Today we’d like to introduce you to Breanna Powell

Hi Breanna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My content creator journey started in 2018, right after I finished grad school! After being in school for most of my life, I didn’t know what to do with myself once I graduated…I needed some way of “measuring my success” outside of finding a job. So, I started a blog! It was called “FlawBless with Bre,” a nod to finding the blessings in my imperfections as I navigated that season of my life and maintained a busy, on the go lifestyle. During the pandemic, the name changed to The Busy Bre — but the intention remained the same! Now, here we are.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. Lol I ended up being demoted from my social work job in 2021, which led me to quit with no plans of what was next. That was scary af!

But, God was and always is so faithful — one of my dearest friends (shoutout to Jon!) purchased my LLC for my birthday and thus, The Busy Bre LLC was born and my first business, The Social Hive was started. Entrepreneurship is one of theeee hardest things I’ve ever done, but it has been so worth it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a full time content creator and social media management agency owner. I create content for myself and my clients that focuses on building community and giving people something (or someone) they can connect to and resonate with. I do both of these things while maintaining a very FULL calendar and living up to my name (The BUSY Bre) lol.

I am most proud of my ability to create and facilitate community. I love bringing people together to connect and SEE each other. So any opportunity I have to do that, I am going to take it.

What matters most to you?
Relationships. Connection has been the breeding ground of creativity for me over these last few years, and the ability to be creative (in more ways than one) has brought me so much joy! The relationships I’ve worked to create and sustain, have literally KEPT ME even in the midst of my darkest hours. So I will always make room for my relationships to thrive because they mean so much to me.
