Hi my name Brittany Casterlow
I am a private specialized hair stylist specializing in premium extensions , dimensional color and hair care systems . I have been in the industry for 10 years ! Through the years I have worked in open salons , commercial salons and now I own and operate a salon suite that provides locations for beauty professionals of all kinds an elevated space to operate their business . I graduated from UNC Charlotte ( Go NINers!) with a bachelors in busniess administration . I always knew I wanted to open my own busniess but I wasn’t sure of the industry that I wanted to go in. Once I graduated, I worked as a marketing assistant for a year in which I realized my passion for the beauty industry. I enter cosmetology school and within a year I graduated I was placed in my first Salon. I have worked in commercial salons for two years before branching out and building my own clientele. I would say would help me get to where I am is God, my parents and my inner drive to create an atmosphere that provides high-end beauty services to women of all backgrounds over the years. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road over the years. They’ve been challenges with building clientele, overcoming social changes such as the pandemic, as well as the ever-changing trends within the industry and there’s always a pressure to keep up with the current trend as well as perfect your foundation. Often the services that I provide are found in larger cities so so making it known about what I offer can be a challenge when working behind the chair as well as marketing my business
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So I am a specialized hair extension technician that offers various extensions design for clients of all hair types. I offer extensions known as I tips, K tips nano extensions and mesh integration. these are methods that are customize for every client‘s hair and needs providing seamless and undetectable extension looks the services also are very important to clients who are suffering from hair loss or hair thinning what are most proud of is the diverse clientele that I have built and the progress that clients have gained over the years through the education that I have provided them about their hair. I am also proud of the confidence that they have displayed in me and the level of trust and relationships that I have built what set me apart is that I focus on Hair care first with everything that I do I do not sacrifice the hair or scalp health in order for a client to achieve a look rather help them come up with a regimen to achieve their desired outcome, even if it takes time without compromising their hair integrity

What matters most to me is empowering women to feel the best about themselves and the most comfortable with themselves. We often feel so much societal pressure as women and having someone who truly understands what is going to work for you whether that be your lifestyle, your Hair needs or just your overall balance in life I take pride in working with Client to help them obtain that. No matter who’s in my chair or what service we do my goal is always to make them feel better than when they came in.
