Check Out Cody Stephenson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cody Stephenson.

Hi Cody, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began DJing in high school and that what really started it all, A free demo of virtual DJ lol. In 2016 I got in a tragic motorcycle accident I lost function in my right arm and broke my face inside the helmet to, I got air lifted to the hospital spending 20 days there. that experience forced me to change my direction in music so I went to Audio Engineering school to get ProTools certified.

I finished school and I needed to a band to record and practice my skills. After not be able to find a band I decided to turn the microphone on myself and well 12 years later I’m doing this music thing.
Another side that I believe needs to be talked about is my adventures. I love new places and enjoying the landscape on a spiritual level. I hopped in my car and I drove to Albuquerque,NM where I just showed up empty handed and started a life. Born in Upstate NY then taking my adventures across 9 states and meeting all different people and places, has become a real enjoyment for me.

I also love my skateboarding, after my accident I didn’t have the balance to ride because of my disability with my arm but I didn’t let it stop me. My body slowly learned and adapted to (just can’t fall) lol 😆

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Having to live life a completely different way that you always took for granted will make you appreciate the small simple stuff

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an Audio Engineer, I have my ProTools certification which allowed my to turn the microphone on myself. I’m known for my free spirited vibes and my never quitting work ethic. I bring a sound that captures turn heart felt experiences. What makes me stand out is my consistency. I’m always putting new out even if it’s unreleased I still what ppl to get a chance to hear it even if I never see a penny.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
My luck has only came by me making it. God gives you opportunity but luck is made in my opinion
