Today we’d like to introduce you to Darrell Cordell.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
During Covid in 2018 a lot of job loss and tragedies occurred in my life. as I was cutting my hair one day it dawned on me that, “this is something I actually like doing “. So I decided to move forward on it and go to barber school. From there on I never stopped chasing my dream of becoming a professional barber.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I love being a barber always, but I faced embarrassment, humility, and having a family of 3kids and a wife having to eventually let go my full time job to do barbering full time.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a professional barber, and what I believe that set me apart from others is that I’m here for the public not just myself. I want to create jobs for others and also affordable prices with quality service.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I would say with me going to three different barber schools I have learned from all my instructors in different ways to prepare me for when I have my school.
