Check Out Keyon Havner’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keyon Havner.

Hi Keyon, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My passion for fashion started long before I was old enough to purchase my own clothes, I would say 1996 is when I began to understand the importance of your appearance.

Brief story: I had a Principal in high-school by the name Mr. Godbolt who was extremely fashionable, he had so many different color suit and tie combinations, he was always well dressed and I watched how he was well recieved and loved by everyone, he had great personality as well, a very kind but stern man but it was the suits and being well groomed that always caught my eye, it resonated with me I never forgot the impact he made and on me, till this day he probably dosent know what he did to the 15/16 year old version of me.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Things definitely have not come easy for me, growing up in a single parent household with 5 women (mom and 4 sisters) I didnt have many examples of masculinity, so I feel I was a late bloomer in life due to that. But my journey was designed by God so I rarely complain.

I discovered my purpose late, but thats ok im here now and im ready for the journey.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Im a style coach better known as a personal stylist (fashion).

I enjoy helping men and women achieve the best versions of themselves through fashion and style.

My most proud moment is accepting the calling, I ran from this for years while friends and family encouraged me and believed in me that I could help affect change in people’s lives and I can honestly say they were RIGHT!

Im extremely proud each time someone trust me with such a huge responsibility, your look is so important and for people to believe in me to help elevate their fashion is an unbelievable honor.

I believe what sets me apart is my experiences in retail I was a store manager for a major retail store for 15 years where i gained so much experience in customer service and most importantly that time spent in retail sharpened my people skills. I’d like to believe im understanding to people’s needs and extremely relatable which provides a comfort for my clients.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I believe in God not luck, whats for me is for me, anything that dosent go my way is not in God’s plan for me at that time, I believe that with all my heart.
