Today we’d like to introduce you to LaTanya Moore.

Hi LaTanya, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Coming from Rocky Mount, NC, I have always been taught to seek an education and to stand on the promises of God. After many years of feeling successful yet stuck, I realized that receiving more would only come through a relationship with God.

I began to create prayer routines and strategies that elevated my life and launched my spiritual gifts. These practices also allowed me to walk fully in purpose and connect with others who wanted the same. I started my business story as a podcast in 2020, the same week the world shut down.

As the world shut down, I opened up to a new world of motivating and inspiring others to build a relationship with God, walk in purpose, and build Kingdom businesses by seeking God first. Spirituali-TEA, LLC was birthed during a season when most people were seeking answers from God and looking for practical ways to do so.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This road has been so rewarding but it has not all been smooth. I’ve faced trials that I have learned to overcome. One of the first barriers that I had to overcome was fear.

Sometimes, we get caught up in what people will think and how they will react to what we have been called to do. We wonder about our past since it plays a part in how we are viewed. Ultimately, saying yes to God is what matters, not yes to people.

Because I struggled with fear and even self-doubt in the past, I can now help others overcome. God uses all of our struggles and experiences for His glory, so I’m grateful for every bump in the road that became a lesson.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a podcaster, coach, and consultant who unlocks your next level! I always say that my brain has several sides including a therapy side, organizational side, and spiritual side. All of these experiences and degrees have allowed me to live in my purpose as I motivate and inspire in a way that promotes freedom, healing, and progression.

My coaching programs are centered around walking with purpose without fear and unpacking the barriers that have held you back. Through consulting, I focus on helping kingdom businesses visualize, strategize, and monetize by keeping God first. And Spirituali-TEA podcast, the foundation of it all, focuses on building a relationship with God using #prACTical tips.

I specialize in unlocking people who have felt stuck or desire to go to the next level. I’m often known for being a prayer warrior as well, hosting monthly prayer calls and online worship events. I believe my versatility and kingdom mindset sets me apart from the rest!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love everything about Durham!

It was never in my life plan to move to Durham but God knows best. After taking a job at the University of Chapel Hill in 2017, my life changed in many ways. Being in the bull city atmosphere has launched me in more ways than one.

The only thing I would change about Durham is keeping restaurants open later! I love midnight snacks and good food!
