Today we’d like to introduce you to Raven Robinson.

Hi Raven, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Posh Elite Society is an event organization for young black professionals.I created NC pink and white festival& NC Elite Greek Cookout .1st annual Pink & white fest sold out within 5 mins in 2021.Also with a waitlist of 631+ people.Another major event is NC Elite Greek Cookout is a Celebration of Greek black excellence. While we network and support small businesses. We all have opportunities right in your hands by building connections.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been fairly smooth?
It has not been a smooth road for me. Becoming an entrepreneur, you’re not doing 9 to 5. It’s your business like your baby. You’re doing it almost for 24 hours. Make sure everything is intact and in order. In the most professional way. I learned a lot about what I needed for the next event in my first event.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What I do is I set aside Events for black professionals in NC. To show Appreciation to black professionals in North Carolina to celebrate networking and small businesses. I’m known for the pink and white festival in North Carolina. As well as the North Carolina Elite Greek Picnic. I’m most proud of bringing everyone together. Well, send me apart because I genuinely care about the black community, and I hope we share this connection between networking and small businesses—big celebrations of black excellence.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
By doing what you love. Finding your talent or your gift is the key to success. You are also helping others find their purpose. It is so much limitless success in my eyes. If it’s in your heart don’t give up continue to do what you love. I recommend definitely tuning out negativity especially when people don’t see your vision. There’s is nothing wrong with having a mentor if you find somebody that can help you with your vision. Having your own business is not easy the ups and downs. You have to be strong to continue to be an entrepreneur.
