Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenda Goff.
Hi Brenda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Before real estate became my profession, it was simply my life.
As a stay-at-home mom, my days were filled with raising my girls and supporting our family. During that time, we began building a new home—an experience that would unknowingly shape my future. We had the opportunity to contribute sweat equity to the process, working hands-on and learning the ins and outs of construction. What started as a practical way to build a home quickly became a deep education in how homes come together—from the ground up.
It didn’t go unnoticed.
The real estate agent we were working with saw something in me—grit, determination, and a willingness to learn. She encouraged me to step into the industry, starting simply by hosting open houses on the weekends. That small step opened a much larger door.
As my daughters grew, so did my experience. While living in Wayne County, I expanded my knowledge beyond transactions by owning and managing my own portfolio of rental properties. That season taught me not just about real estate, but about responsibility, investment strategy, and long-term planning.
In 2008, my family moved to the Triangle, where my career continued to evolve. In Wake County, I had the unique opportunity to work with a national corporate investor—an experience that broadened my understanding of the industry on a larger scale and sharpened my ability to navigate complex transactions.
But it was in 2020, during one of the most uncertain times for many, that my purpose became even clearer.
As small businesses struggled through the challenges of COVID-19, I felt called to act. I began coordinating efforts to help local businesses support one another—because when small businesses win, communities thrive. From that vision, partnerships were formed, events were created, and Tuesday in the Triangle was born—a social media video series designed to spotlight local businesses and valuable community resources.
What started as a response to a difficult season has grown into something much bigger.
Today, I continue to foster connections through a thriving networking group built on encouragement, collaboration, and shared success. I also partner with trusted local professionals to offer educational seminars and webinars focused on foundational planning—whether someone is just getting started, planning for the future, or navigating next steps for themselves or their loved ones.
Because real estate is never just about a house.
It’s about people, preparation, and the life you’re building inside those walls.
Community is what transforms a place into something truly special. Bringing together small businesses, sharing resources, and creating opportunities to connect allows me to better serve not only my clients—but the entire community.
Being your NC Triangle Home Resource isn’t just what I do—it’s a privilege and an honor.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t always been easy.
When I moved from Wayne County to Wake County, I had to rebuild my business and brand from the ground up making new connections and new referral partners.
Real estate is cyclical, with natural slow seasons that require discipline, strong time management, and financial awareness.
Those challenges didn’t hold me back—they refined how I work and strengthened the foundation I’ve built.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Brenda Goff Realtor- Exp Realty?
I serve as a real estate advisor in the NC Triangle, helping clients navigate major life transitions with clarity, strategy, and confidence. What sets me apart is my responsiveness and tenacity—I have a strong attention to detail, I don’t disappear when things get complex, and I don’t stop until the job is done right.
With experience spanning construction, investing, and luxury home representation, I bring both perspective and grit to every transaction. Through Tuesday in the Triangle and strong local partnerships, I also connect my clients to trusted resources, creating value well beyond the closing table.
I’ve built a brand where hard work meets high standards—and where clients know they have someone in their corner every step of the way.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t define my journey by luck—good or bad. I’ve been incredibly blessed.
In the good seasons, I’m grateful to God for each and every blessing. In the challenging ones, I’m just as thankful for the lessons that lead to growth, resilience, and a stronger foundation.
Both have shaped who I am and how I serve.
