Community Highlights: Meet Brent Pridgen of SmokiinMac

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brent Pridgen.

Hi Brent, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
SmokiinMac was an idea created around a card table. I’ve been cooking for over 13 years. In 2019 I was approached by a college buddy who followed me on social media and told me he just bought a food truck. He wanted someone to partner up with who had cooking experience. Didn’t know what my concept would be until we were playing cards one night and my buddy said “ how about MacNcheese”? I laughed it off. That night I prayed on it and woke up with an entire concept idea surrounded by just MacNcheese. Smoked meats and different seafoods infused into MacNcheese. Being such a different concept it wasn’t hard to gain attention. Stayed consistent and now we have over 30k followers and consistent customers on a weekly basis

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s the food business. Nothing is easy
