Community Highlights: Meet Mariia Tsegelnyk of The Light of Healing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariia Tsegelnyk.

Hi Mariia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been an Energy Healer since I was a child. My father (I was born in Ukraine) was a Psychiatrist and in his sessions, he combined Western Medicine with Acupuncture and Energy Healing. I saw healing miracles performed almost every day when I was growing up. And I started giving healings at a very young age, around five y.o. to my family members.

But later in life, I got my Master’s Degree in Business Management and drifted away from healing. And then suddenly 2014, my life took a turn.

I was practicing yoga at the park in VA and I got bit by a tick. A year later, I started getting sick and no one knew what was going on with me. It got to the point where I couldn’t walk, move, or talk, I was in pain. My body was literally dying. A year later, I have been diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease and have been put on massive doses of antibiotics. Doctors were monitoring my liver and kidneys every week. However, the damage has been done and I didn’t know if I ever will be able to live a normal life. But I knew there has to be an answer. I just had to find it. After searching and experimenting with different healing modalities, I found Reiki and Energy Healing and since that day, my life turned 180 degrees.

I was able to heal the damage that was considered to be “impossible” to heal. After I’ve received an extensive training in multiple Energy Healing Modalities with the best Energy Healing Schools and Spiritual teachers, became a certified Hypnotist I started helping people to heal their bodies, minds, and spirits.

And my clients started asking me: can they also learn what I do – and I said: “Yes!”. Because all of us can heal, it’s a matter of activating and tapping into our own inner healing abilities. And that’s how The Light of Healing Energy Healing School was born, which now is helping thousands of people. Training and certifying Healers in multiple Healing Modalities in order to heal themselves, their loved ones, clients, and the world.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest struggles on my way to success was Lyme Disease that has been debilitating me for a long time. It’s hard to work when your brain is inflamed and can’t think. But the Energy Healing activates your natural healing resources so that your body can heal itself. And of course, I am not against Western Medicine, I always say: you can use Energy Healing as a complementary healing modality and that it does help your body heal faster, not just on a physical level, but also emotional, because as we know our emotional and mental state has a huge impact on our physical health. Energy Healing helps to reduce inflammation, boosts your immune system, shortens recovery time after invasive surgical procedures, speeds up overall recovery time, reduces anxiety and so much more. There is a lot of medical and scientific research has been done that shows the efficacy of Energy Healing – both: distant and in-person. And I am also so glad that nowadays Energy Medicine is getting more and more accepted by Western medicine and so many hospitals here in US and worldwide have Reiki Treatment Rooms. It’s not some Whoo-Whoo stuff anymore, there is science behind it.

The Light of Healing Energy Healing School offers a variety of Certification Programs in multiple Energy Healing Modalities including Reiki, Shamanism, Violet flame, Metatron, Akashic Records Healing, Advanced Healing, and so much more.

All Certification programs are accredited with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.

Classes are offered in-person and virtually via zoom and involve a LOT of practice so that after you leave the class, you will be very confident in healing people.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Yes! Even though it’s already has been proven that Energy travels through time and space (so much research has been done on it), we as humans tend to be skeptical about such things at first (and I used to have trouble understanding it as well). And when Covid-19 came the only option for people to receive healing and learn was in a virtual format. And this became truly mindblowing for me and my students and clients! That distant session and class can JUST AS POWERFUL as in-person if not even more powerful because of many factors of working with energy. A lot of my graduates-healers are completely shifting to online format now not just because of Covid-19 measures but because healing seems to be even more powerful.

Thorugh Covid-19 I’ve learned a lot.

In my classes now, I incorporate new technologies and features that I haven’t seen anybody else incorporating in their classes yet, to provide the most value to my students so that they are highly trained, skillful, and confident healers. And I am so proud of my graduates when I see them going out in the world and building successful healing practices. This is the best reward for me as a teacher.
