Today we’d like to introduce you to Markeshia Gore.
Hi Markeshia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My name is Markeshia Gore. I was born and raised in Whiteville, North Carolina. I began my certification towards being a life coach after I faced a heartbreak. Through “At the Table,” which is a faith-based program, I learned how to get through daily and starting my process of healing.
My non-profit, Inspired by Grace, LLC, is a spinoff of my business Inspirational Tees & Thingz, LLC. There was no one to tell me that I could reach my goals until I reached high school, and a counselor motivated me and took up time with me. Of course, my family was there, but as a young person, you need a little more. “Grace” comes from my aunt’s baby that she lost in 2012, and I was inspired by that experience to keep going. “Grace” gives us a new life which is not condemned by God. Through God’s grace, we are forgiven, our minds are transformed, and our heart is renewed. Inspired by Grace, was started to be an outlet for young girls, for motivation and being able to be an active role in their life. Another spinoff from Inspired by Grace was the daily motivations that started on Tik-Tok but expanded on Facebook. This began my journey as a Certified Faith-Based Life Coach- Coach M Grey Gore. I currently serve as a Social Emotional Learning Coach in the school system. I provide self-awareness, responsible decision-making, self-management, relationship skills, and social awareness.
As Coach M Grey Gore, I stand behind a higher destiny filled with possibilities. I cannot guarantee that I can fix the problem, but I will not let you face them alone.
I bring with me experience. The experience of heartbreak, the experience of being depressed and crawling my way out, and the experience of learning to forgive. Someone was there for me during journey, and now my motto is “I am here for you!”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not always been easy. When I started being a life coach, it was difficult because I had to now do it alone (It was very nerve-wracking.). The one thing that my life coach would do was provide sessions that I could attend that would assist me with my growth throughout my life. She made me realize that although I was facing some issues, pouring myself into others provided me with the strength that was needed to help me.
• I pray before each post, session, and engagements for me to speak so I can deliver in the way God wants me to and the confidence he has given me through each experience I face.
• I take self-care days to pour into me because pouring into others can take away from yourself, so I use those days to promote health and happiness for myself.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I do not believe it is good luck or bad luck. There is a season for everything that happens in our lives. When I had gone through the rough patch in my life, it almost destroyed me, but it was supposed to happen to build me up so I can depend more on God.
There is always a lesson that can be taught and/or learned. My business keeps me going. It motivates me and pushes me a little further.
