Community Highlights: Meet Rob & Janet Campbell of Linen and Orchid

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob & Janet Campbell.

Hi Rob & Janet, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My wife and I both relocated back to the East Coast from California last July to be closer to our NY families and her father (who lives with us) closer to his siblings in Florida. Janet (my wife) and I are both real estate brokers in CA and NC and we also started our interior design business – Linen and Orchid. Janet is the designer and I’m business development for the operation.

We have both been doing real estate sales for 20 plus years and Janet also studied interior design at the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach CA. Our clients love her designs and how passionate she is about them.

Our work together has proven to be quite successful and we look forward to sharing our insights and wealth of experience within our Raleigh market.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The main obstacle is Covid caused delays, still waiting on some furniture pieces and getting the face time needed with new clients.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Interior design firm offering consultations – space selection – e-design and full interior design services We incorporate a modern coastal along with traditional design. Like I tell Janet, we were NY-raised, CA-inspired, and now Carolina Living.

What does success mean to you?
Satisfied clients and referrals. There’s nothing like the wow factor when our job is complete and they recommend us to their family and friends.
