Hi Shannon, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into health began as a paramedic of twenty years for a local government agency.And after seeing how broken the western medicine system was and how they didn’t look for the root cause of the issue, just wanted to put a bandate on the problem.I started looking for other options and came into the world of energy work i always had certain gifts or abilities, and this seemed to just go right along with it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, the road has been Bumpy and curvy and windy and uphill. Most of the way, but it’s been very much worth it. Bringing energy healing to a small town in a very religious area has definitely been difficult.Trying to explain that reiki is not a religion and just an energetic practice has proven to be difficult.
As you know, we’re big fans of Soul Sisters Reiki & Rocks. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a local, holistic healing studio that offers everything from reiki healing to restorative yoga, soothing sound baths, guided meditations. We also have a vibrant acoustic bed, detoxing footbaths, and a community closet where everything is free.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I believe luck is what happens when preparation meets. Opportunity, but I also believe we all have a pre chosen path before we come come here and part of the journey is remembering who we are, and what all we’re capable of
