Hi Tetiana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey as an esthetician began with a lifelong dream. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare and a medical background, I always wanted to help people feel both healthy and beautiful.
In 2021, I made that dream a reality by completing my training at Mitchell’s Academy and earning my esthetician license. Combining my medical expertise with my passion for skincare, I opened my own business.
Today, I’m proud to do what I love—helping people enhance their natural beauty, feel confident, and care for their skin. It’s a joy to turn my dream into reality every day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped my journey in meaningful ways. When I first decided to focus on skincare services, I was filled with passion but quickly realized how competitive the beauty industry is. There were moments when I questioned if I could make my vision stand out.
One of the toughest struggles was building trust with clients. In the beginning, it wasn’t easy convincing people to give my facials a try when there were already so many well-established options. I poured endless hours into perfecting my craft, learning about different skin types, and customizing treatments like European, anti-aging, and even Gentlemen’s Facials. I wanted every client to feel seen, heard, and cared for. Slowly but surely, word began to spread, and those initial clients became my greatest advocates.
The struggles taught me resilience and gave me the confidence to trust my unique approach. Now, when clients walk away glowing and revitalized, I’m reminded that the bumpy road was worth it. Every setback was just a stepping stone to where I am today.
