Community Highlights: Meet Tevin Heath of G3ts Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tevin Heath.  

Hi Tevin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Tevin Heath, I am 27 years old, the proud husband of a wonderful wife, and we run a home services company. 

Though I am young in years, I believe that I have had quite the evolution in thought due to many happenings in my life. Throughout my adolescence years, that were quite turbulent, I have had a renewed perspective on life and the roles we all play in shaping our own. 

I struggled with the pursuit of what I would bring to the world and what I would like to do for the rest of my life. I initially faltered with separating my desires from the influence of family and friends, who thought what would be best for me and had to spend long and hard looking at what I was good at, what I found enjoyable, and what I couldn’t stop thinking about. That’s when I finally realized that I loved talking to people, and I loved finding the gap in any place or any situation to be able to provide a needed service. I realized that the only thing I wanted to do for the rest of my life was Entrepreneurship. In arriving to the Asheville area and realizing the needs of the residence here, it was very clear that whether it was moving, handyman services, junk removal services, there were individuals who were frustrated with the level of professionalism in the space or just simply skilled workers to carry out their daily needs, and that is when we embarked on a journey to build this company and to fill the gap in this area. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any great undertaking, the road is never smooth. The juxtaposition of meeting people on the daily that said they needed services similar to ours and actually finding leads was, at times, disheartening. We spent long and hard figuring out how we could make ourselves known to the community and, at the same time, have enough experience to create a sense of competency and quality so that we could become a recognized name. It took some time, but eventually, we figured out how to streamline getting leads and scaling our team to meet that demand. This is a tightrope I think most if not all, companies have to fine-tune, and we are no exception this was one of the struggles we faced growing the company. 

We’ve been impressed with G3ts Services LLC., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
G3tsservices is all about providing home services to NC/SC/TN areas. We are known primarily for our Moving and Junk removal expertise. We provide furniture assembly, basic handyman services, moving and removal services. 

We pride ourselves in our professionalism, quality services, and hearing out each of our customer’s specific needs and ensuring that each individual feels heard. 

The greatest accomplishment that our company aims for is complete satisfaction on the side of our customers. 

Another aim of our company is to create a space in which to increase awareness to this business model of providing these services nationwide. We will become a national brand that creates opportunities to youth from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities to enable them and allow for the generation of wealth and life-changing opportunities. 

To have a streamlined path, that regardless of the obstacles one may face. If they stick to our mentorship, they will have a company like ours in their respective spaces. 

What’s next?
We’re not planning to have any big changes anytime soon per se but to continue to solidify our systems to have a wonderful foundation so that in the distant future, we will be able to start to implement onboarding individuals so that we can somewhat franchise the company nationwide. What we are doing now sets the foundation and creates a household name that others can come and utilize nationwide.
