Today we’d like to introduce you to Caroline Webb

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started this business in June of 2022, when my son turned one. I was working on his invitation and party items and loved the process and working with local printers in the Raleigh area! I had designed my wedding suite along with cups, koozies, matchbooks and napkins for our wedding. Years later, and lots of design favors for friends and family, I decided to make it a business! My biggest focus was (and still is) affordability, using local businesses whenever possible and ALWAYS using companies in the US.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Most people do not realize, this is not my only job! I am a mom, wife and also full-time employee for a large publishing company. It can sometimes be difficult to juggle between my roles! I sometimes have a Caroline Webb Design customer on the phone, while making dinner or folding laundry! If a customer wants a drop off in Raleigh, half of the time that may be my husband! One time a customer picked up cups, and my mom greeted them at the door, because I was out of town for work! My three-year-old has scribbled on multiple shipping boxes and helped me load the dishwasher with frosted cups so the customer wouldn’t have to hassle with that before their party!

It is truly a labor of love and a family affair!

Not to mention, I never have taken a business class, so I am grateful for the small business community always guiding me and answering my questions.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I design personalized stationery, from gift tags to wedding suites! I also love to create coordinating items for your party (think koozies, cocktail napkins, matchbooks, you name it!) My background is in event planning and also, customer service. I believe that has given me the eye for small details and absolutely love meeting customers and forming long term relationships!

I also know how expensive personalized items can be, and I really strive to keep my prices fair, so that anyone can access a personalized party invitation and maybe even add an invitation liner for the added touch!

What makes you happy?
This question is very timely, I am writing this the Sunday evening after my son’s third birthday party. As you can imagine, it was a very thought-out party (well… parties), with lots of details and moving parts. Nothing made me happier than the joy on his face when he walked into our house to his “ICE CEAM” party, and that sweet, sweet, smile.

Believe me, I am exhausted, but seeing the twinkle in his eyes and the compliments from family and friends makes me so happy. I would be lying if I said I was not already thinking about the next party I get to throw!
