Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Eanes.
Hi Eric, can you introduce yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I was 17 when I first started detailing. I had worked for a few car lots until I started working for a used car lot called Deacon Jones here in Fayetteville. I managed an entire detail department by myself. 6 years later, after meeting my wife Kat, we both decided to use our savings to open a detail shop. In 2019 we started in an 1100 square ft 1 bay garage. What we thought was going to be a lifetime shop, but we rapidly began to fill up the shop. We decided to look for a new location. We found a 7,000 sqft building in Downtown Fayetteville NC in 2021. This new shop is where we call home, and we could not be happier to offer our current and future customers the detail shop they deserve.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are always struggles in a business, but the only thing that matters is how we are behind each other as a team and succeed. My team is by far the best team I could ask for.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We specialize in anything detail, tint, and custom car modifications related. My wife, my team, and I are all passionate about detailing and car modifications. I’m proud of the strides we have taken to get us to the level we have reached. I always tell my customers, “we are in the business of making friendships, not digging in your pocket. I offer the same quality work to everyone who walks through my door. I cherish the fact my customers trust us to detail their vehicles no matter what year, make, or model.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check?
The Bible is by far my favorite book. The detail spot is my favorite podcast, and researching new techniques and products with my wife is how we stay fresh on the evolution of the detailed world.
