Conversations with Jeimi Jaimes Maya

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeimi Jaimes Maya

Hi Jeimi, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was a normal urban high school student in a small town in North Carolina called Wendell as a normal American high school student I did a lot of activities I loved theatre and acting I love dancing and communicating with new people , growing up I always told myself I wanted to be out there I wanted people to remember my face for something, So I talked myself into joining the cheer team . I tried out and the first try I made it , it was scary at first I wasn’t as confident but as time went by I gained confidence and self love I lost weight and started feeling better, during my first ever football game one of the school photographers(Don Webster)came up to me and said “wow who are you” I then responded “I’m jeimi Jaimes” and that’s is exactly ! Why I am where I am now , this photographer being so small from Knightdale North Carolina had talked me into working infront of his camera once I did I FELL IN LOVE WITH being infrotn of cameras I didn’t know I was so photogenic , he talked me into going to my first ever runway casting audition for a fashion show , after this I got much attention from lots of different model coaches but one in specific (Nyger Catrice) the rest is history i have done about 5 fashion shows since I started (one year ago) and many more to come , I am now signed with A list model and talent agency and am awaiting on more opportunities for me . Thank you for choosing me to share my story . Much love , Jeimi Jaimes .

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was definitely not as easy as it seems being in the model industry there is certain things they want and expect from you , modeling of course comes with lots of envy, jealousy, two faced people and fake support and love every where, I’ve endured many but thanks to GOD no one has brought me down in fact they Motivate me I’ve really learned who and who not to trust and keep around and who really is my friend deep down I’ve lost people and chances with love because of the way I am the stuff I do and what I post but hey it’s a process , and nothing last forever .

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am Mostly known for being infront of cameras once I was in the show “Enamorandonos USA” in Miami and after that people categorized me with Miss Tv and here I am most known for being on TV having a YouTube mother or being a model , lots of people don’t know but I have lots of patience and love for babies animals and old people I am currently working at a retirement home and I love what I do .

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Just to stay away from everyone because you never know
