Today we’d like to introduce you to Macey Mayer.
Hi Macey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always loved art, and wanted to pursue a career where my art could impact others. It was a long journey of trying to find a path that suited me and my dreams, but after I got my first tattoo I knew this is what I was meant to do. I could reach others with tattoos and help heal a part of them that no one else could.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been easy, that’s for sure. I’ve faced hardships, challenges, and obstacles like anyone else in this field. But the key is to not let them stop you, because if you really want something then you have to fight for it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do a lot of different styles! Neo Traditional and Fine line are my favorites. I can do black and grey, color, cover ups, and more. I want to make sure that whatever my clients wants I’m capable of doing it.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Not particularly. I’m pretty self sufficient, and don’t rely on technology much. But the people in my life, my inner circle, they’re the ones who inspire me and encourage me every day.
