Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Crawford Aka “Raymond Ray”.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hey, it’s Rachel aka Raymond Ray. I’m an NC native, channeler of spirit, psychic intuitive, tarot reader and certified life coach.
I channel spirit through intuitive messages, visions and automatic writing. I’ve been communicating with spirit for over 15 years and have read tarot professionally at a local store and now currently on TIKTOK. I have created two tarot decks and sell them online around the world.
I currently own two businesses- Raymond Ray Intuitive and Envision Today Life Coaching. I’ve been a business owner for 10 years now, I’m a certified life & career coach who’s helped over 300 clients achieve their goals. I have over 1000 hours of professional business and coaching experience, helping clients transform their personal and professional lives.
For years I wanted to hide and run from my spiritual gifts, but spirit (and destiny) was calling! This year spirit urged me to take my intuitive skills online and create a platform on TIKTOK. I was very against social media, having never had a facebook or any social media platforms. But I realized that in order to help others with my intuitive gifts I would have to put myself out in the world and be where the people are. For me, that was TIKTOK.
I started doing readings on TIKTOK daily, created my two tarot decks and started connecting with other tarot readers on the platform. I was so worried of the backlash of the public, afraid people would not like what I had to say or that I would receive lots of hate. Being a people pleaser by nature, I was so scared to put myself out there. Having been on the platform for 4 months now I am so glad that I took a leap of faith and joined TIKTOK! The response has been the exact opposite. Other tarot readers are excited to connect with me, many of them using my tarot decks in their own readings on TIKTOK (which has been really cool to watch!). I’ve built a small community of followers, many who wait for my readings to post each day. I’ve also had 170,000 views so far, which I’m in shock and completely grateful for. I’ve also made lifelong friends on the platform, which I would have never met had I not put myself out there.
I will say though that TIKTOK really is the wild wild west. As a TIKTOK newbie there are a few challenges I am working to overcome. Having to watch myself on video can be quite challenging. I’m working through getting over my physical imperfections as well as feeling like I don’t always say the right things. I try to show up on the platform being my authentic self and I find that my viewers really appreciate that. Another big challenge with TIKTOK is the algorithm. Going viral is not easy! I would say I have yet to break 20K views for a video. However, I do have friends who have gone viral quite a bit and they are guiding me through the process. My takeaway is that consistency is the key but also the hardest part. In order to go viral on the platform, its recommended to post multiple times per day and engage with the platform (likes, comments, shares) for at-least a few hours everyday. Basically, in order to go viral (in my opinion), or to be successful on TIKTOK, you have to live and breathe on TIKTOK.
I am also a parent of two young children so spending all my waking hours on the platform has not been doable. I truly believe that when it is my time to go viral it will happen. What keeps me going is knowing that I’m helping someone everyday through my messages. Even if I’m just connecting and helping one person, that is enough for me.
I have not yet been successful financially on the platform but I have trust and faith that it will happen in time. Patience really is a virtue when it comes to TIKTOK! My hope on the platform is that viewers will like my readings and book me for private one on one readings through my website. My ultimate goal is to do tarot readings full time on TIKTOK. I’ve accepted that it will take time but I know in my gut that my time is coming! I’ve posted over 300 videos on TIKTOK and I’ve made a commitment to continue on this journey.
Also, some of my viewers wonder why my name is Raymond Ray on TIKTOK and it’s because of a past life I lived as a man named Raymond in Chicago in the 1970s. That was a life of struggle but I’ve always felt connected to the name Raymond. Also, my friends in high school used to call me Ray (short for Rachel). Therefore, the name Raymond Ray was born. I find people don’t really know what to make of me, but that’s ok! I’m trying to show people that being yourself and living in your authenticity is really the key to success and happiness!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I really enjoy channeling messages from spirit. I find when I sit down for my readings on TIKTOK I have no idea what information is going to come through or even what the reading is going to be about. I literally just press record and BOOM it all somehow comes together beautifully.
I recommend watching one of my videos on TIKTOK! (Raymondrayintuitive). Also, I felt called to create two tarot decks but I had literally NO graphic design skills at all.
Spirit led me through the entire process, what programs to use, how to do the artwork and I did all of the artwork myself and didn’t use AI at all! What people think is impossible to do can be done with the help of spirit, trusting your intuition and channeling.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
My biggest takeaway from spirit is that everyone has a purpose on this planet. EVERYONE! You are here for a reason. And I truly believe we are all here to discover our gifts and talents and use them to make the world a better place. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve met who feel stagnant and purposeless. Finding your purpose is part of your mission and journey. The other part is using your skills and talents to help others and ultimately raise the vibration of the planet.
Also, everyone is intuitive, everyone is psychic! Everyone can channel messages, everyone can speak with loved ones who have passed away. The first step is believing that it is possible! Believing that it is real. Believing is SEEING! Once you believe that it is possible, the universe lifts the veil and you can uncover gifts and experiences that you’d never believe were possible.
