Today we’d like to introduce you to Tonia Brown And Tonie Ervin.

Hi Tonia Brown , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We’re identical twin sisters and big nerds. We also each married a huge nerd. Between the four of us, we love a variety of genres, and it so happened that we all love to make art. Eventually this evolved into a business idea, we decided to lean into the twin thing. We did a fusion dance and BAM! Spooky Twins!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Working as a family has been a breeze! We’re a close as any family can be, and in our case as twins we’re even closer. Aside from the economy being crappy lately, we’ve had it pretty easy going.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What really sets us apart is the variety of stuff we make. We each have a specialty we are known for. Tonie has been woodburning for 18 years and is absolutely amazing at it. Don makes altered journals that we simply can’t keep in stock. Tonia felts the cutest murdery monsters using things like real kids teeth and real animal bones. And Tony creates our unique 3D printed products like our Mr Pomuder Head line.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
We are not from Raleigh but we like the vibe of the city.
