Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Williams.
Hi Angela, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began as a result of wanting to create structure where there was little structure. I realized my strengths were coming up with thoughts, ideas and concepts but keeping up with them all was challenging. At my corporate job, I sought to simplify processes which meant setting goals to implement along the way. Given my memory did not always serve me the best, having structured journaling plans made sense. This led me to create the basis of my Goal Planning & Tracker Journal. From there I thought this would be more helpful in book form. Hence my Goal Planning journal was born! I self published the journal and was proud to be a published author. Sharing my journal with others was a pleasure I never thought was possible for me. From there was the beginning of Claudette Expressions. I went on to publish other items and grow in my art of ‘creation’. The name came from my born middle name. As a young child having a unique and long name could at times be challenging. As I grew older I began to so appreciate the uniqueness of the name as it was a way to give me something different in contrast to my first name. Small things are never really small. They are just journeys to your next. And we never know what that next can be.
Driven to create structure, I developed a Goal Planning Journal, self-published it, and founded Claudette Expressions—turning my unique name into inspiration.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been an up and down journey along the way. The more I pour into it the more I get from it. Marketing my product has been more challenging at times but when I put myself out there and push through the introversion I tend to have more opportunities present themselves.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve always been a creative at heart in everything I do. Working autonomously gives me the ability to come up with more ways to accomplish things.
