Today we’d like to introduce you to Cherie Giordano.

Hi Cherie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ever since I was little, I was stealing my dad’s old digital cameras and taking pictures of anything and everything I could set my eyes on. As I got older, something just instantly gave me joy about capturing moments in time that I could look back on.

I am actually that annoying friend who takes pictures of EVERYTHING because I think it’s so important to capture life in front of you and I am not sorry about it! Right out of high school, I decided to take a plunge and start my business and I have invested in learning and teaching myself the ins and outs of this industry ever since.

I’m so thankful for the change and the growth that has come with this industry over the past 11 years and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a business owner, I think you always have ups and downs.

This is an ever-changing industry so with that I have had to evolve to keep up. I’ve changed my editing styles many times to see what fits my brand and finally landed on a style that is authentic and joyful and one that my clients resonate with.

I think a lot of photographers in the industry struggled when Covid hit and it took a lot of creative, socially distanced sessions to get through it but here we are back at it and better than ever!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in portrait photography, my style is described as joyful, Bright, and timeless.

I shoot anything from weddings to bundles of joy, maternity, and seniors. I am so proud of this business that I have built with the support of my loved ones. Clients that turn into friends make this job that much better and that is the goal during my sessions, to make people feel comfortable and relaxed so they can enjoy the moment and have fun with it.

That is how I get the most authentic version of people who jump in front of my lens!

What makes you happy?
Being able to call this my job every day is what makes me happy.

I get to capture the biggest milestones in people’s lives to look back on for years to come and there is no greater joy than that knowing I am a piece of that for my clients. Capturing life, love, and everything in between is a dream.

I would not be where I am without my family, my boyfriend, and my wonderful friends to encourage me to chase my dreams of being behind a lens.
