Dancing Moon Books & Gifts: “Luminous Literature for Enlightened Earthlings.”

We began in a lovely little house on a side street near downtown Raleigh in January of 1990 and stayed there until October of 2002 when we moved to Oberlin Rd. In March 2005, we moved again to our present location on Wake Forest Rd. Dancing Moon Books & Gifts has become one of Southeast’s most prominent independent New Age retailers. We carry many books and gifts, aromatherapy and candles, CDs, incense and crystals, jewelry and tarot decks, and herbs. We invite you to browse our website (as you do, remember that the inventory listed is just a tiny subset of what we carry in the store), check our events calendar for a listing of readers and healers, upcoming events, classes, and seminars; or just come by in person and spend some time at the” MOON” – we trust you will find it an enlightening experience! Our knowledgeable staff has been serving the community for many years, and we consider ourselves fortunate to be a part of the Spirit of Dancing Moon. We trust that you will be as well.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Challenges are always on any path but worth the experience and growth. Starting a metaphysical store in the South came with its struggles, but fortunately, we have all evolved together to flourish openly.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
Dancing Moon Books & Gifts in Raleigh offers a unique and personalized shopping experience. We carefully handpick and source each product, ensuring the highest quality and authenticity. Our knowledgeable staff is always available to answer any questions and offer recommendations. We are known for our expansive gem and crystal selections and house the most extensive metaphysical book collection in the Southeast. Recently, we expanded our herb section to include over 175 herbs, of which we received phenomenal feedback. We are most proud of the energy, vibe, and experience we have here for everyone who enters our doors. We are inclusive of all and here to assist with any path you take. Dancing Moon features daily Readers, Healers, and Events to help provide spiritual guidance for all. We are the only store locally that hosts Psychic Fairs and Gem Shows in-house!

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
We have a community board in the store where folks can leave their business cards for others to grab.
