Today we’d like to introduce you to Chuck Price. 

Hi Chuck, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Chuck Price, also known as C.P. Tha Vintage Retroman, Your Neighborhood HOPE Dealer! I am a local entrepreneur, professional blogger, songwriter, worship leader, and Christian Hip-Hop artist located right outside of Greensboro, NC. I started as a blogger in 2017, chasing a dream that I had my entire life. After spending a decade in Corporate America, I branched out and started my own website that eventually grew into my own small business. My website is www.vintageretroman.com, and the name originally came from my passion and love of the vintage and retro cultures of the past. I have always loved the music, culture, and entertainment of the previous decades dating back to the 1960s, and I combined the elements of those cultures with todays through music and art. At the height of the pandemic in the summer of 2020, I began hosting Christian Hip-Hop parties on Facebook Live, and the people loved it. From there, I began rapping and singing (I was already leading worship at my church) and began recording, posting consistent content on my YouTube channel and website. As my site began to grow, I took the element of marketing (I have 15+ years of marketing experience, and am a Director of Marketing at my day job) and started a services page on my site (www.vintageretroman.com/services). This has allowed me to help other entrepreneurs grow their businesses and blogs through my content that I create for them. I help owners with everything from written content, digital design, social media marketing, and much more. I am very non-traditional in my approach and extremely customer-centric. My goal is to provide quality content for a fraction of the cost of marketing firms while giving personalized service and maintaining long-term relationships. I have began networking with other business decision-makers in the triad area of North Carolina and have some speaking arrangements in the works. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, not smooth at all. When you are so different from others in your approach, people try to discount what you do and the value of it. I believe that it is important to put God first, put your head down, and keep working on your plan despite what others may think. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a music artist, I write Christian Hip-Hop music and perform. For me, it is therapy that encourages others and uplifts God. I am known for making different types of music that appeals to various age ranges. I am proud of the fact that my listeners reach out and tells me that my music helps them, glory to God. I am in no competition with anyone but myself, but I believe my accessibility sets me apart from others. I do it for the love, not the money. 

As far as my career, I love marketing. As I have alluded to before, I am all about helping others. I know small businesses need help and I am authentic in my approach.

I want the readers to know from the heart, that my number one goal is to be your personal “Hope Dealer!” We all need hope! This world is hard, and I am here to help.
