Daily Inspiration: Meet Jessica Boone

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Boone.

Hi Jessica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I feel like I’ve lived several lives in one lifetime—each chapter shaping who I am today. I’ve worked in insurance, taught 7th grade history, and even took a leap as an independent distributor in the health and wellness space. But now, I’m proud to say I’m in a career that lights me up. As a Digital Media Analyst at an institution that challenges and supports me both professionally and personally, I get to flex my creativity and strategic thinking daily. What’s even more special is that my team genuinely embraces my work outside the 9-to-5—they’re always curious about my latest projects as a Creative Director.

There was a time I stepped away from designing altogether. I had convinced myself it was just a side hustle and only offered consultations here and there. But everything changed when a client unexpectedly paid a long-forgotten invoice and texted me saying, ‘I’m ready.’ I was tempted to refund her, but that project reignited a fire I thought I lost. Since then, every client has felt like divine alignment—and I haven’t looked back.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wish I could say the road’s been smooth—but honestly, the bumps along the way have shaped me in the best possible way. I know that sounds cliché, but it’s true. The struggles taught me how to pivot, how to rethink my path, and most importantly, how to trust myself even when the vision wasn’t clear.

One of the hardest moments came on my 31st birthday—I got laid off. No job, no guaranteed income, and a whole lot of fear. But instead of spiraling, I chose to reframe the situation. I called it my ‘fun-employment.’ That season became a surprising blessing. I connected with incredible people, landed freelance opportunities that helped keep me afloat, and invested in upskilling. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and into rooms I wouldn’t have walked into otherwise.

Exactly one year later—on my 32nd birthday—I signed a new offer letter. Not only that, I was also invited to deliver a keynote on Branding Your Story. A sold-out event. A topic I was able to perfect during my ‘fun-employment’ season. It was a full-circle moment I’ll never forget.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I like to say I’m the creator and a Creative Director—but really, I’m a translator of visions at Jessica Le’Gail Creative Co.. I help bring my clients’ ideas to life through intentional branding, graphic and web design, strategic planning, and paid advertising. I specialize in working with entrepreneurs and small businesses who are ready to show up boldly and confidently in their industries.

What I’m most proud of is my ability to truly listen. My clients often come to me with a feeling or a vision they haven’t fully articulated yet—and together, we shape it into something tangible, impactful, and beautiful. What sets me apart is my holistic creative perspective. Because I’ve worked across multiple industries and niches, I don’t just design pretty things—I build brands that make sense, that convert, and that feel good to the people behind them.

Any big plans?
Looking ahead, I’m focused on continuing to grow—both creatively and professionally. I’m always exploring ways to sharpen my skills and expand the impact I can make for the clients I serve. Long term, my dream is to open a full-service creative studio—a space where entrepreneurs can come and get the whole shabang: branding, photography, strategy, web design, and more, all under one roof. I want to build a space that not only supports big visions, but helps bring them to life from start to finish.
