Today we’d like to introduce you to Ladarius Moore
Hi Ladarius , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out singing and playing piano at 9, then started to play trumpet in the school band around 5th or 6th grade, eventually in middle school I picked up the guitar and drums. I’d always been interested in music it’s been my calling all my life, I went to a bunch of different camps and a music school after I’d get out of middle/high school, after school I went on to have a daughter and now I just want her have a dad she can be proud of and one that shows her she doesn’t have to settle for what society says she has to be or what she has to do in life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s definitely not a smooth road for me, it could be for others. Everyone’s path is different it takes a bit of luck and knowing the right people at the right times. Personally my struggle is with social media content and marketing myself. I’m a great musician but I have to be a great artist, and with that comes content creation and brand development
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve performed at the Ryman auditorium, Bridgestone arena, as well as at least 20 other places from Nashville, to Atlanta, to Vegas, and most recently Raleigh. I’m still fresh in my career but I’ve put my 10’000 hours In for sure
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My parents have been my biggest supporters, from putting up with me banging on drums for hours to paying for all the different camps and after school stuff, they centered their life around my growth they deserve to be repaid for that. They knew I could and would be great
