Daily Inspiration: Meet Leo Kaiser

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leo Kaiser.

Hi Leo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2020 I was in my first year of college and felt a pull to pursue music, after dropping out I spent the next few years exploring my music and after spending time in Nashville I realized this was the path for me. As a solo act I found it difficult to get work and hit a wall with my writing. Fast forward to 2024 and I expanded the project bring both Dallas and Shark on board. As guitarists their personal influences quickly impacted our sound and led to the development of the direction we are currently in. We have our first full band written songs coming out in 2026 and are excited for this new chapter.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a band we have struggled to find a permanent drummer, going through session players and live fill ins it has been difficult to book shows without a consistent member behind the kit.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As the lead songwriter of the band I feel very passionate and pride with the songs we create. I want people to listen to these songs and truly feel like they have been transported into a melodic story. I hope each listener takes away a sense of belonging and understanding from our music.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk is crucial for success, as musicians money has never been the goal, we understand this is a career path with low security and that is a risk. Life isn’t meant to be played safe, its meant to be enjoyed and fulfilling. Nothing has ever been more fulfilling than finally completing a song, I wouldn’t trade that feeling for the world.
