Daily Inspiration: Meet Lori Reising

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lori Reising.

Lori, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was adopted. When I was born, I was wheeled out of the room. I wasn’t held. I didn’t get a goodbye. I just got separation. Three weeks in a hospital room, fed and changed, with none of the deep nurturing or trust a baby coming into this world expects to have.

So I decided abandonment was my thing. I could feel it in every interaction. I could see it in every relationship. And the more I decided it was my lot in life, the more I magnetized it. People kept leaving. I kept building boundaries to protect myself from a wound I hadn’t even named yet.

I met my biological mother when I was nineteen. In one sense it was life saving. I finally felt myself in someone, felt myself in that DNA, that lineage. But she and I danced the same old dance for years. She would show up. She would abandon me again. Different form, same root.

Then I lost a daughter to stillbirth. I had miscarriages. The grief cracked something open that had been sealed since the day I was born. All of that unspoken lineage came flooding up at once. So I became a birth worker. Not because I had a five year plan. Because I needed to heal enough to feel normal in a world I had already decided I wasn’t part of.

For years I still managed the wound instead of healing it. I told people how to treat me. I built the boundary. I explained the trigger. I thought that was the work. It wasn’t.

The real turning point came on a call with my own therapist. I was in van life at the time, alone, crying about the same abandonment story I had cried about a hundred times before. And she snapped. She told me it didn’t matter what she said, I was going to do the same thing anyway. I sat there in shock. When I got off that call, I realized something that changed everything. This wasn’t my mother. This wasn’t a partner. This was someone I paid, someone whose entire job was unconditional support, and she had conditionally reacted and abandoned me in that exact moment. I was the common denominator. Not because I deserved abandonment, but because I was still living inside a nervous system set point that believed abandonment was the only story available to me. Awareness had gotten me that far. It could name the pattern. It could not heal it.

So I decided to heal it instead of manage it. I did the work, the practices, the deep excavation, and I let myself feel all of it. It was painful. It was scary. And I cleared it. I disrupted a lineage wound that had traveled through my matriarchy for generations, and it stopped with me.

That clearing is the root of everything I do now. I have been in therapeutic and transformational work since 2001, first as a pelvic bowl therapist supporting women through birth, then expanding into the full picture of healing at the root instead of managing symptoms at the surface. I started The Raw and Wild Hearts podcast after years of waiting for someone else to do it with me, for the safety of a partner or a plan. Eventually I just dove in and learned it all myself. From there came retreats, in Costa Rica, in Sedona, wherever the work called me, spaces where women could do this excavation together instead of alone.

Today that work lives across everything I offer. Private mentorship, for the women who want direct, real time access while they move through their own root level healing. CHANNEL, my nine week program built on the same nine chakra architecture, Earth Star to Soul Star, that maps the whole arc from wound to frequency. Retreats, immersive and in person, because isolation never got anyone through a growth edge. And a membership community that keeps the ritual and the ceremony going between the bigger moments.

All of it led to my book, Unstuck. It ends the addiction to healing itself, the loop where we stay identified as the one who is always healing instead of becoming the one who already has. I built it around my own story because that is still the most honest teaching tool I have.

I did not come to dim my light or play small, and neither did you. I came in coded, and so did you. The wound, the story I told about myself for years, it was never the whole truth. It was just the loop. And loops can end.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth was never the plan. Contrast was.

Every single thing that looked like a struggle was actually a cornerstone. I can see that so clearly now.

The addiction I turned to as a kid, the drugs and alcohol I used to make it tolerable to be me, that was the first time I learned how far I could disconnect from my own frequency. It became the exact reason I know now, in my bones, what it costs to abandon yourself, and what it feels like to finally come home to your own soul instead.

Saying no to grad school was one of the boldest things I ever did, even though I did not have the language for it at the time. Everyone expected me to walk the safe path. I listened to something deeper instead. Yes, I built a story around money because of that decision, but that story became the exact material I needed to eventually dismantle it and build real frequency sovereignty with money instead of fear.

The abandonment wound with my biological mother was the whole curriculum. Meeting her at nineteen, dancing that old dance with her for years, building boundary after boundary instead of getting to the root, all of it was training. It taught me the difference between managing a wound and healing it at the root, which is the exact teaching I now hold space for thousands of people to learn.

Losing my daughter to stillbirth and the miscarriages that came with it cracked me open at the deepest level a human can be cracked open. That grief is the reason I understand root level healing instead of surface management. It gave me direct access to my own channel in a way nothing gentle ever could have.

Those early investments, the thousand dollars, then the almost ten thousand with no guarantee and no word back for days, those were the exact initiations that built my relationship with abundance. I learned I could stay in alignment even without the evidence yet. That is a muscle I use every single day now.

The call with my therapist, the one where she finally reflected my own pattern back to me so sharply I sat in shock, that was the biggest confrontation of my life, and it is the exact moment I chose healing over management for good. Everything I teach about ending the healing loop traces back to that one call.

Walking away from my own retreats at the height of their success, right when I hit the dream number I had manifested, was not a collapse. It was proof that I trust my channel over any structure, even one I built with my own hands. That is the frequency I now teach other women to trust in their own lives and businesses.

And the season I burned all the way out on my own manifestation practice, gave up on it, walked away from it for a while, that became the exact reason I stopped teaching from formula and started teaching from truth. It is why nothing I offer now is generic.

None of it was smooth, and I would not trade a single mile of it. Every wound became a doorway. Every collapse became a foundation. That contrast is not something I overcame to get here. It is the actual architecture of the freedom and alignment I live in now, and it is why I get to build the most dynamic and magnificent version of this reality yet, instead of just talking about it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work at the root. That is the whole thing in one sentence.

I am an author, a speaker, a psychosomatic guide, and a spiritual mentor, and everything I do comes back to one distinction. Most healing work manages a wound. My work empowers you to heal it. Those are not the same thing, and that difference is what I am known for.

I created the Frequency Foundation Method because I got tired of watching brilliant, deeply called people stay stuck while doing all the right surface work. More information. More affirmations. More healing sessions with no framework for permanent change. None of that reaches the root. My superpower is finding the actual root that has been creating the suffering, sometimes for a lifetime, sometimes for generations, and clearing it there instead of managing the symptom on top of it.

That shows up across everything I offer. Private mentorship, where women get direct, real time access to me while they do this work in their own lives. CHANNEL, my nine week program built on the nine chakra arc, Earth Star to Soul Star, that walks people from wound to frequency step by step. Retreats, because isolation never healed anyone and some of this work only happens in circle. A membership community that keeps the ritual alive between the bigger moments. And my book, Unstuck, which ends the addiction to healing itself and hands people the same architecture I use with my private clients.

I’m known for my international retreats, soul-hitting keynote talks, my life-changing private mentorships, signature program and my ability to share big concepts in grounded ways.

What sets me apart is that I am not teaching from a framework I read somewhere. I am teaching from what I lived and cleared myself, in real time, in my own body. Boundaries create energetic confusion. Frequency shifts create trust. I did not learn that as a concept. I learned it clearing my own wound, on a call with my own therapist, in a van in the middle of nowhere on Christmas. That is the difference between someone who manages you and someone who actually walks you to the root.

How do you define success?
True heart alignment. Inner freedom. Living from our uniquely coded selves in the empowerment of change, growth, and evolution. That is what I call success. Period. End of story.

Heart alignment means what is happening in my heart, what is coming out of my mouth, and what I am actually doing all match. No performing. No managing an image while something completely different is happening underneath. When that lines up, I know I am in it, whether anyone is watching or not.

Inner freedom means I am no longer available for my old wounds to run the show. I do not need anybody, any circumstance, any outcome to change in order for me to feel safe. That used to be my whole life. I needed the boundary, I needed the roadmap I gave everyone for how to treat me so I would not feel abandoned again. Freedom was never going to come from that. It came from clearing the root so deep that I stopped needing the boundary at all.

Living from our uniquely coded selves means I stopped trying to squeeze into somebody else’s framework for what this is supposed to look like. We all came in coded differently. My medicine is not your medicine. Success was never going to be me becoming a better version of somebody else’s formula. It is me becoming the version of me I buried a long time ago, fully, unapologetically, without asking permission.

And the empowerment of change, growth, and evolution, that is the piece most people skip right past. Success is not landing somewhere and everything finally holds still. It is staying in motion. It is the expansion, then the contraction, then the up level, over and over. That is not a sign something broke. That is the whole point. I do not want to arrive somewhere and stop. I want to keep leaping, keep becoming, for the rest of my days.

So when I ask myself if something is working, in my business, in my relationships, in my own body, I am not asking if it looks impressive from the outside. I am asking, is it true. Is it free. Is it mine. Is it still growing. That is the only scoreboard I have ever needed.
