Daily Inspiration: Meet Mariah Bell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariah Bell

Hi Mariah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been behind a camera as long as I can remember! I grew up with a grandpa and mother who were very passionate about capturing moments and making them last forever. I fell in love with photography at a young age and I did my first wedding when I was only 14 years old. I remember being so excited for their first kiss, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I started my own business with photography after graduating college in 2017 with a photography and design degree. I love capturing all things from families to weddings! Now I have dozens of weddings under my belt, and hundreds of sessions to look back on. I take pride in making every session unique and as creative as possible. I want you to look at my images and know what the moment felt like.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I have worked so hard to get to where I’m at now, but I must say I am so thankful for all of my amazing clients along the way. Everyone has been so kind and great to work with, so really the only struggles have been the few times I’ve moved and building my business back up with the new locations.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My name is Bell Creative for a reason. Yes it’s my last name, haha but I also want all of my work to be creative and unique. I will spend hours making props for my clients just to make them feel special and beautiful. In example, just a few days ago I spent 5 hours on a set of leaf wings for my maternity client so she would feel like a princess. I love to make my sessions memorable. I also include a drone in my sessions to get that extra fun shot. I would say I’m most proud of how far I’ve come and the ideas I’ve come up with.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me in my business is making women feel beautiful and happy. If it’s weddings, portrait sessions, or couples sessions… my main goal is to make the women feel like an absolute queen! I know how challenging life can be and how hard we are on ourselves, so I love making women see how stunning they really are and all that they are capable of.
