Daily Inspiration: Meet Rhonda Giselle Daniel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhonda Giselle Daniel.

Hi Rhonda Giselle, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Trinidad and moved to New York in 1999. Like a lot of people chasing a better life, I came with big dreams and learned pretty quickly that building a life takes a lot of resilience.

I’ve always loved fitness, but it didn’t become my purpose until I started going through some of my own challenges. As a single mom, there were seasons where I was trying to keep everything afloat while still taking care of myself. Fitness became more than exercise. It became the one thing that reminded me that no matter what was happening around me, I could keep showing up for myself.

That eventually led me to create BodiedByG. I coach women who are tired of starting over every Monday and help them build healthy habits that actually fit their lives. I also handcraft waist beads because, to me, wellness isn’t just about what you see in the mirror. It’s about confidence, femininity, and having daily reminders that you’re worth investing in.

Today I’m based in North Carolina, and I’m continuing to grow BodiedByG while helping women understand that lasting transformation doesn’t come from chasing perfection. It comes from learning to trust yourself and staying consistent, even on the hard days.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.

Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve had seasons where I questioned whether I should keep going. I’ve worked multiple jobs while building my business, dealt with financial setbacks, and had to rebuild parts of my life more than once. There were times when it would have been easier to quit, but every challenge reminded me why I started in the first place.

Those experiences changed the way I coach. I don’t expect perfection from my clients because I know real life doesn’t work that way. Many of the women I work with are balancing careers, children, aging parents, relationships, and everything in between. They don’t need someone judging them. They need someone who understands that progress isn’t always linear.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the difficult seasons because they gave me empathy, patience, and a deeper appreciation for every small win.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m the founder of BodiedByG, a wellness brand dedicated to helping women build confidence from the inside out through fitness coaching, nutrition guidance, and handmade waist beads.

I specialize in working with women who are tired of all or nothing approaches to health. Instead of focusing on quick fixes or unrealistic expectations, I help them create habits they can actually maintain while balancing work, family, and everyday life. My coaching is rooted in education, accountability, and meeting women where they are.

One thing that makes my brand unique is that I combine wellness with creativity. Every waist bead I make is handcrafted by me and designed to be more than just an accessory. For many women, they’re a symbol of self love, femininity, personal growth, and a reminder to stay connected to the goals they’ve set for themselves.

What I’m most proud of isn’t the number of pounds someone loses. It’s watching a woman stop criticizing herself, start believing in herself, and realize she’s capable of doing hard things. Seeing that shift in confidence is why I do this work.

I hope people know BodiedByG as more than a fitness brand. I want it to be a place where women feel supported, encouraged, and reminded that taking care of themselves isn’t selfish… it’s necessary.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was curious, determined, and always wanted to create something of my own. I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people and naturally found myself encouraging others. Even when I was younger, I was the person who wanted everyone around me to feel included and capable.

Looking back, I can see that entrepreneurship and coaching were probably always in me. I just didn’t know what they would look like yet. Every chapter of my life from growing up in Trinidad to moving to the United States and eventually settling in North Carolina has shaped the woman and business owner I am today.
