Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I Started My Business As I Was Younger i would Decorate anything from clothing to pillows, curtains anything that i could transform to something Amazing and at this Time my mom was sick and i was taking care of her and she would always say God Got Something Big For You and He did Being A Party Decorator/ Designer!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No I have had Challenges the First was Losing my mom to Cancer she was my World she saw my vision before i did ! Also Starting A business from stratch me and my amazing Husband there were alot of sacrifices and loses in the beginning to build our name which is my mother’s Name Shirley’s Angel! I named my business after her there people telling us we would fail there were already alot party decorators so being discouraged played a factor also
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I Design parties from weddings to babyshowers birthdays bridal showers and so on any Events! We Build and Design all our Props and designs for all our events ! I am very passionate about about my work my centerpieces are special made by me to create my clients personal theme i live being very detailed in every event i create ! I Am well know for Making any room into a fairy tail and that one of the things i am most proud of and the fact i took my mother name and turned it into something Amazing and that everyone knows now Shirley’s Angel! So just knowing that i made my mom proud is a Bigger than a price achievement for me ! What makes me set apart from others is my Drive and Ambition in this business i do it not just because its a job i do it because its in my heart and i love it ! Its more than just an event for me i put dedication and commitment into my work giving each client something different and special We are also a one man stop we focused on giving our client everything they need so we do all of our work to make that happen even to creating a rental business called Shirley’s Angel Rental and Decor!
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was remembering how my mom and dad would make me and my 5 siblings the best Christmas ever we asked for leather coats one year me and my 3 sisters and i never forgot opening the box and my leather coat was in it we weren’t rich growing up so this was something big for us to get !
