Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always had a love for food – I am a true foodie at heart because food is just so good! I love trying new restaurants and exploring different cuisines wherever I go. I also love how food serves as a focal point to bring people together. I started taking pictures of my meals at home and while dining out back in 2018, but I became more intentional about my goals in 2022. Before I dine out, I enjoy gathering suggestions and combing through reviews. In return, I enjoy being that resource for other people. I am the friend who will have a dining itinerary prepared for the group before we travel, and I enjoy doing that for my local community as well.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I will say it has been a winding road with a few speedbumps, as every new opportunity that encourages growth tends to be. Capturing content was mindless before I became intentional about being a creator. While it’s super fun and rewarding, I’m easily distracted in pursuit of capturing the perfect content, and it is sometimes defeating when the insights are not what I expect. Nonetheless, I continue to challenge myself because I truly enjoy what I do and it allows me to step outside of my comfort zone through collaborations and explorations of new areas.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
By day, I am a Cybersecurity professional, going on 11 years. I wear my travel agent and website designer hats at night, but I think about food ALL THE TIME. For my diningwith_tiff blog, I create useful content that helps consumers find their next place to dine and helps businesses increase their reach. I am also an avid traveler, so I take a lot of content when I am out of town and overseas to be saved for future reference. I have fun researching and trying new restaurants and providing recommendations for a variety of events (date nights, birthdays, groups, off the resort for international trips, or certain cuisines). I am most proud of my drive and consistency because it is a lot of work. I aspire to have a page where people can visit for such suggestions and find authentic content, allowing businesses to feel confident in working with me through influencer events and collaborations.

What matters most to you? Why?
Growth, staying true to myself, and achieving the desired result influence my drive. I will gladly admit that I have a lot of work to do and I accept the challenge of being better than I was yesterday. I want my content to reflect the organized, goofy, headstrong Capricorn that I am in order to influence my intended audience and continue to flourish and network within my foodie community.
