Today we’d like to introduce you to Anita Wiley Angela Wilburn.
Anita Wiley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We ( Angela and I) were co workers at a a community based agency and become quick allies. Working in a community based agency brought us to the realization there was a defecit in the African American community for quality therapy for people who struggle with substance use and signficant trauma. Additionally, we noticed that certain populations in our community were being under serviced such as LGBTQIA+, transgender and nuerodivergent. This lead to the formation of Wiley and Wilburn Counseling Services, PLLC.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not! There has been alot of learning of along the way of how to market ourselves; how to reach our community; and navigating insurance. Honestly its still a work in progress but were proud of what we have accomplish so far.

We are boutique therapy servies telehealth service provider. We are African America women that provide ourselves on providing mental healthy therapy servies to the underserved and often overlooked. We spealize in treating people who struggle with dual diagnoses, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, severe anxiety, severe depression, anger management and trauma. What sets us apart is our approach to the therapuetic process, our clients are often surprised at how easy it is to talk us.; In additon to our knowledge and expertise from our rich work background and experience. We offer telehealth serviecs during regular business hours as well as evening and weekends.
