Hi Corey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began in 2021 with the idea of renting out my boat and driving people around on the lake. So from there, I did my research, built my website and started out by advertising to my friends and family and they would spread the word.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it has not been a smooth road. Building a consistent clientele has been a struggle. These new requirements and restrictions that the lake commission has put in place, made it harder for a small business to be compliant. There’s always competition of other boat rental companies, especially the ones that does things wrong and makes it hard for the others.

Carolina Cruisin LLC is a boat rental company that operates on Lake Norman and other lakes in the Charlotte surrounding areas. We offer boat rental services for all occasions. I’m a photographer/videographer as well. So I also run a photography and videography company.
