Exploring Life & Business with Danielle Boyd of Daily Becoming

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Boyd.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story began in the fall of 2020. We were in the midst of a global pandemic which resulted in a shutdown. Everything that I knew came to a halt and I had to take a long, hard look at what I considered to be the things that defined me.

As a Believer in Christ, I am aware that my identity must be rooted in Him but as an everyday Woman, I found myself attaching my self-worth to various roles. I knew that I wasn’t the only Woman experiencing these feelings while navigating a “new normal” so I decided to take the step to begin an inspirational platform as a source of encouragement for others AND for myself.

The initial name of this platform was Affirm U but after a few months of navigating the online space, I realized the need for a complete shift so the platform underwent a complete overhaul and name change.

Daily Becoming launched in October of 2021 and it is an online community committed to helping the Everyday Woman grow and become who God created them to be!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I anticipate challenges. I’m not sure if that’s the realist in me but to answer the question, no, the road hasn’t been smooth.

Anytime you set out to start something new while remaining true to your convictions, you will face opposition. I welcome it at this point because I believe that I can set an example for other women to step out on faith as well. I think the biggest challenge is the fact that I work full time.

So I guess you could call me a “side hustler!” Learning how to manage the day-t0-day and showing up for the community is a lot but sitting down on your calling isn’t an option for me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Daily Becoming, LLC?
Daily Becoming is an online platform that speaks directly to the unique space that the Everyday Woman occupies. Daily Becoming is run entirely online and it consists of a subscription-based weekly newsletter, a podcast, and an online apparel/accessory boutique.

What sets us apart is that members of the Daily Becoming community are able to engage with various forms of content throughout the week when it is most convenient for them. This is critical as many members of the community wear various hats such as wives, mothers, full-time employees, business owners, etc.

I am proud of the space that continues to grow and that it has remained consistent with the mission and vision that was established from inception. Daily Becoming welcomes Women of Faith to join in virtually and to be on the lookout for ways to engage online and in-person for those who live in the Raleigh-Durham area.

What do you think about happiness?
I think it is important to find your joy daily. I personally have SO much to be grateful for.

If I’m not careful, I can allow life’s circumstances to alter my perspective. I do my best to shift my perspective daily and sometimes minute-by-minute.

What makes me happy consistently is seeing my loved ones happy, healthy, and whole, being able to steal moments away with my husband, watching my daughter grow, and seeing others define success for themselves, especially other Women.
