I started Devoted Diagnostics out of a deep desire to serve. As someone who has worked in healthcare, I saw firsthand how difficult it could be for people—especially the elderly, disabled, or those without reliable transportation—to access something as simple yet essential as lab work. That stuck with me.
What began as me drawing labs for clients in their homes quickly turned into a full-fledged mission to make diagnostic care more compassionate and convenient. Over time, we expanded our services beyond mobile phlebotomy to include fingerprinting, background checks, paternity testing, and drug screenings—meeting both clinical and employment-related needs for individuals, employers, and agencies alike.
I wanted people to feel seen, cared for, and respected—not like just another number in a waiting room. Building this business hasn’t been easy, but it’s been deeply rewarding. Every client, every draw, every fingerprint, every screening—it all reminds me why I started.

Starting Devoted Diagnostics was exciting, but it came with its fair share of challenges. In the beginning, I wore every hat—phlebotomist, scheduler, marketer, and even driver. There were days I questioned if I could keep going, especially when resources were tight or when I felt like I was building something people didn’t fully understand yet.
One of the biggest struggles was gaining trust—not just from clients, but from institutions. It took time and persistence to prove that a mobile and community-focused lab service could be just as professional and reliable as a traditional clinic. Licensing, compliance, and meeting health standards while staying mobile was another learning curve.
Despite the obstacles, I wouldn’t change a thing. The struggles built resilience, sharpened my vision, and made every win more meaningful.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people who know me professionally see the confident business owner, the caregiver who shows up with a smile, the woman who’s built a trusted brand—but what many don’t know is that I’m naturally introverted. Starting and running a business that puts me in front of people every day was completely outside of my comfort zone.
It took a lot of courage to step out and promote myself, speak up in rooms, and build relationships in the business world. But my passion for helping others pushed me to grow. I realized that even as a quiet person, I could lead powerfully—through service, consistency, and integrity.
Another thing people might not know is that I didn’t come from a family of entrepreneurs. I had to learn everything from the ground up—through trial, error, faith, and persistence. Every achievement with Devoted Diagnostics is the result of hard work, late nights, and the belief that I was called to do this.
So, while the brand may appear polished on the outside, behind it is someone who is constantly learning, growing, and pushing past fears to fulfill a greater purpose.
